9z Team enter the fourth round of Stage 2 with a 2-1 record, having beaten FlyQuest and Astralis, and lost one game against Team Spirit.
After a strong start to the stage, 9z got stomped by Spirit, who crushed the South American squad 13-3 on Mirage and 13-1 on Nuke. As the result would suggest, it was a very one-sided game, with 9z proving they do not have what it takes to take on elite teams.
As bad as that loss was, it does not prove much, as Team Spirit are in exceptional form and arguably one of the main title contenders. More importantly, 9z Team have looked solid against Astralis and FlyQuest, suggesting they should do fine against TYLOO as well.
