Sentinels Look Shaky
Sentinels had a semi-decent run through VCT Americas Stage 2 group play. They placed fourth in Group Omega, with a 2-3 record and 7-7 in maps.
During the group stage, Sentinels bested Cloud9 (2-1) and LOUD (2-0), but lost against 100 Thieves (1-2), G2 Esports (1-2), and KRU Esports (1-2). Taking maps off 100 Thieves and G2 Esports is impressive, and it shows that Sentinels have some bite to them.
However, they’ve failed to step it up against KRU Esports and ENVY, who swept them with 13-10 on Ascent and 13-3 on Summit in the VCT Americas Play-in upper bracket.
The big issue with Sentinels is their map pool, which needs some work. Especially on Ascent, Sentinels need to show more, as it seems to be one of their weaker maps.

2GAME Esports kicked off VCT 2026 Americas Stage 2 Play-In with a 1-2 loss against FURIA. Despite losing the game, 2GAME showed a lot of fight.
They won Ascent 13-11, lost Split 7-13, and nearly took down FURIA on Sunset. 2GAME Esports were 8-4 up at the half time on Sunset, but collapsed on the attacking side and lost the map 10-13.
The final map of the series also perfectly highlights 2GAME Esports’ weaknesses and strengths. They are very effective on the defensive side, but their attacking is lacking.
Their post-plants are especially worrying and not at the level needed to challenge VCT teams.
