DRX struggled during the group stage, finishing Group Omega in last place, with a 1-4 record. Besides beating DetonatioN FocusMe in the first week of play, DRX haven’t found much success, losing to Team Secret (0-2), Paper Rex (0-2), VARREL (1-2), and T1 (0-2).
In their defence, DRX played better in their last three games of the group stage, and they showed even more improvement in their 2-0 sweep of ONSIDE GAMING in the first round of the Play-Ins.
Yong, in particular, looked excellent, posting a 1.26 performance rating, ahead of HYUMIN at 1.21 and BeYN at 1.12. While it was just one good showing from DRX, it was also a good game in a streak of relatively solid displays.
