On a three-game winning streak, DFM enter the Play-In stage in excellent form, and should be aiming to make it to the playoffs. But while their record looks good on paper, DFM are not perfect, as they nearly lost to VARREL and came close to dropping Split against the struggling Team Secret.

Sharper Esports Started the Play-In Strong
Sharper Esports had an excellent start to VCT Pacific Stage 2 Play-In, beating Rex Regum Qeon 2-1. Admittedly, they’ve not had to face one of the top VCT squads, but RRQ have been showing solid form, so it’s not like Sharper have had an easy match.
Sharper won Haven 13-10, got smoked on Sunset (1-13), and dominated Breeze with 13-6. Evidently, Sunset is their weak point, but Sharper performed well on Haven and Breeze, indicating a fairly healthy map pool.
This is one of the best Challenger teams in the scene, and as shown in the first round of play, more than capable of holding their own against VCT teams.
