These two sides were involved in thrilling 2-2 and 4-4 draws last season before Auckland claimed a 2-1 victory in Round 3 earlier this season.

Auckland head into this encounter with a 11-6-5 record on the season and in second spot on the ladder.

Steve Corica's side bid for back-to-back minor premierships took a big blow after they were beaten 2-1 at home by slumping Macarthur in their last game before the international break.

The Black Knights now find themselves trailing leaders Newcastle by four points, despite beating their minor premiership rivals 2-1 a few weeks ago.

Auckland will be gunning for a third away win on the trot after that aforementioned win over the Jets and also a 5-0 thumping of Kiwi rivals Wellington.
