New Zealand outfit Auckland will play their first competitive game since May against Al Ahli in the Intercontinental Cup. 

Auckland finished third in the A-League last season and were winless in their final five league matches. They conceded at least once in all five of those fixtures. 

The Black Knights won the A-League play-offs to end the 2025/26 season, beating Sydney FC 1-0.
