In the upcoming Premier League match, Brighton and Everton are set to clash at the Amex Stadium. Both teams have displayed inconsistent performances this season, leading to several draws. Analysts recommend betting on a draw, providing odds of 3.75 for the match to conclude without a winner. A specific 1-1 result carries odds of 7.5. With both teams struggling to secure wins, another stalemate seems probable, offering value to those wagering on a draw.

H2H - Even Recent Record

Everton have a 13-7 advantage against Brighton, alongside eight draws.

Brighton Draw Specialists

Fabian Hurzeler’s Brighton have slipped into the Premier League’s bottom half after one win in 10. The Seagulls have drawn five in their patchy run of form.

The South Coast side were unbeaten in four league games. They drew with West Ham 2-2, Man City 1-1 and Bournemouth 1-1 in that spell.

Brighton gave up a 1-0 lead and lost 2-1 at Fulham on Saturday. Yasin Ayari scored in the first half and Brighton conceded in the 72nd and 92nd minutes.

Everton See a Lot of Stalemates

Everton are also in unconvincing form and have won two of their last nine in all competitions. The Toffees are undefeated in four consecutive games, drawing three.

The Merseysiders held Wolves to a 1-1 home draw before a 1-1 stalemate against Sunderland in the FA Cup. Everton followed those draws with a 1-0 win at Aston Villa.

David Moyes’ team couldn’t build on the Villa victory and drew 1-1 at home against Leeds. The Toffees conceded after 28 minutes and Thierno Barry equalised late in the second half.

Predicted Starting Lineups & Team News

Brighton (4-2-3-1): Bart Verbruggen; Ferdi Kadioglu, Jan Paul van Hecke, Lewis Dunk, Maxim De Cuyper; Carlos Baleba, Pascal Gross; Yasin Ayari, Diego Gomez, Karou Mitoma; Danny Welbeck

Defensive duo Mats Wieffer and Adam Webster are injured. Midfielder Solly March is out with a knee issue and Stefanos Tzimas is unavailable due to an ACL injury.

Everton (4-2-3-1): Jordan Pickford; Nathan Patterson, James Tarkowski, Michael Keane, Vitali Mykolenko; Idrissa Gueye, James Garner; Iliman Ndiaye, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Dwight McNeil; Thierno Barry

Midfielder Timothy Iroegbunam has a groin injury and won’t feature.

Jack Grealish is also ruled out. David Moyes explained the forward sustained a recent long-term foot injury and said, “He's got a stress fracture in his foot. It's a big blow because he's been hugely important to us.”

Verdict

Brighton and Everton are inconsistent in the Premier League. Both sides have seen plenty of draws recently and another Amex stalemate has value.
