H2H

Tottenham and Man City have won 69 matches each, alongside 37 draws in 175 meetings.

Tottenham BTTS Regulars

Tottenham are 14th in the Premier League and have failed to win in their last five matches. Spurs have seen 14 total goals during that spell.

Thomas Frank's side were winless in five consecutive games in all competitions and saw BTTS in four of those matches. Tottenham ended that run with a 2-0 home win against Borussia Dortmund before drawing 2-2 at Burnley.

The North Londoners beat Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 away in the Champions League on Wednesday. Spurs had 1.29XG and Randal Kolo Muani and Dominic Solanke scored.

Man City High Scoring Away

Man City sit four points behind Arsenal in the Premier League title race. The Citizens have dropped points in four of their last five league matches, drawing three and losing once.

City had back-to-back away defeats against Man United 2-0 and Bodo/Glimt 3-1 before beating Wolves 2-0 at home.

Pep Guardiola's side followed the Wolves victory with a 2-0 home triumph against Galatasaray. Erling Haaland and Rayan Cherki scored in the opening 30 minutes and City dominated with 1.78XG.

Predicted Starting Lineups & Team News

Tottenham (3-4-3): Guglielmo Vicario; Cristian Romero, Kevin Danso, Joao Palhinha; Djed Spence, Conor Gallagher, Yves Bissouma, Destiny Udogie; Wilson Odobert, Dominic Solanke, Xavi Simons

Attackers Richarlison, Lucas Bergvall and Mohamed Kudus and defenders Ben Davies and Pedro Porro are injured. Midfielders James Maddison, Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski are also out with injuries.

Micky van de Ven could also miss out following a minor knock. Thomas Frank was unsure of the player’s availability ahead of Sunday’s game and said, “Micky is a minor one. It will be touch-and-go for Sunday, we are hoping.”

Man City (3-4-3): Gianluigi Donnarumma; Matheus Nunes, Abdukodir Khusanov, Marc Guehi, Nico O’Reilly; Rodri, Rayan Cherki, Bernardo Silva, Tijjani Reijnders, Antoine Semenyo; Erling  Haaland

Defenders John Stones, Joskov Gvardiol and Ruben Dias are sidelined due to injury. Midfielder Mateo Kovacic and forward Savinhao are also injured and unavailable.

Jeremy Doku won’t feature due to a calf issue. Pep Guardiola ruled the winger out of the Tottenham game and said, “It's a similar injury to last time, only then it was on the lateral side, now it is in the centre. Last time it took 18 days. This time, I presume, will be shorter. It's in the middle one, so we have to take time. He's a robust player.”

Verdict

Tottenham and Man City have been amongst the Premier League goals recently. Spurs score and concede in most games and a high scorer is likely in North London.
