Leeds United's impressive form at home makes them formidable contenders in their upcoming Premier League match against Arsenal. Despite Arsenal's recent struggle with dropping points, Leeds has maintained a strong presence at Elland Road. A savvy betting approach would be to consider a 'home double chance' on Leeds winning or drawing, which holds substantial value with odds of 2.6. This match offers an intriguing dynamic, with Leeds capitalizing on home advantage and presenting a tough challenge for an inconsistent Arsenal side.

Arsenal have a 54-41 advantage against Leeds, alongside 33 draws.

Leeds Hard to Beat at Home

Leeds are 16th in the Premier League and sit six points outside the relegation zone. Daniel Farke’s side are unbeaten in 10 of their last 11 games.

The Whites are undefeated in five home matches, including a 3-1 win over Chelsea and a 2-2 draw with Liverpool. Leeds’ only recent loss came at Newcastle 4-3 and they responded with wins at Derby 3-1 and Fulham at home 1-0.

The Yorkshire side extended their mini unbeaten run to three matches after a 1-1 draw at Everton. James Justin opened the scoring on 28 minutes and Leeds had 1.37XG before conceding a late equaliser.

Arsenal Losing EPL Form

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have lost their advantage in the Premier League title race following a three-match winless run. The Gunners are now just four points ahead of chasing Aston Villa and Man City.

Arsenal were held to goalless draws at home against Liverpool and at Nottingham Forest. Their winless Premier League streak continued with a 3-2 home defeat to Man United.

The North Londoners then beat Kairat Almaty 3-2 in the Champions League. Viktor Gyokeres, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Martinelli scored in the first half and Arsenal had 3.94XG.

Predicted Starting Lineups & Team News

Leeds (3-5-2): Karl Darlow; Sebastiaan Bornauw, Joe Rodon, Pascal Struijk; Jayden Bogle, Anton Stach, Ethan Ampadu, Ilia Gruev, James Justin; Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Brenden Aaronson

Defender Jaka Bijol is ruled out due to a thigh problem.

Dan James has returned to training and could return to the squad. Daniel Farke was positive about the winger’s recovery and said, “First time part integrated in team training. Pretty close to joining us back in full team training.”

Arsenal (4-3-3): David Raya; Jurrien Timber, William Saliba, Gabriel, Piero Hincapie; Martin Odegaard, Martin Zubimendi, Declan Rice; Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus, Leandro Trossard

Midfielder Max Dowman is sidelined due to an ankle issue.

Mikel Arteta is hopeful that William Saliba and Jurrien Timber will be available for Saturday. The Arsenal manager gave an update on the defenders and said, “They have some niggles... It's a good opportunity now that we make a different kind of work with them to get them in the best possible condition for the weekend, hopefully.”

Verdict

Leeds are one of the most in-form home sides in the Premier League and Arsenal are dropping points. A home double chance bet has good value at Elland Road.
