Brighton is proving to be a formidable team at home, consistently securing Premier League points at the Amex Stadium. Liverpool, on the other hand, has shown a decline in their away performance. Given this contrast, the Seagulls are anticipated to either win or draw in their upcoming match. This prediction is backed by favorable betting odds of 1.67 with a 2-unit stake, suggesting confidence in Brighton's ability to at least draw against Liverpool.

H2H - Seagulls Solid at Home

Liverpool have a 25-8 advantage against Brighton, alongside 12 draws.

Brighton Finding Good EPL Form

Fabian Hurzeler’s Brighton have a strong home record in 2025/26, taking 24 of their 40 points at the Amex. Only four Premier League teams have lost fewer home games than the Seagulls this season.

The Sussex outfit have hit good form recently, winning three of their last four league fixtures. They beat Brentford 2-0 and Nottingham Forest at home 2-1.

Brighton’s only recent defeat came against Arsenal 1-0 at the Amex. The Seagulls were the better side with 60% possession, 11 shots and 0.82-0.46 XG.

Hurzeler’s team responded positively and beat Sunderland 1-0 away. Yankuba Minteh scored the winner after 58 minutes and Brighton limited Sunderland to 0.89 XG.

Liverpool Lacking an Away Threat

Liverpool have struggled for consistency recently and are winless in three of their last five matches.

The Merseysiders have lost two of their last three away, following a 2-1 defeat at Wolves and a 1-0 loss at Galatasaray.

Arne Slot’s side couldn’t recover from the Galatasaray result and were held to a 1-1 home draw with Tottenham. Liverpool struggled, allowing seven shots on target, and conceded in the 90th minute.

The Reds progressed in the Champions League on Wednesday following a 4-0 home win over Galatasaray. Dominik Szoboszlai, Hugo Ekitike, Ryan Gravenberch and Mohamed got on the scoresheet.
