Liverpool is expected to leverage Crystal Palace's lack of road consistency in their upcoming match. The anticipation is a high-scoring affair with Liverpool emerging victorious, marking a strong momentum for them. Betting predictions support a high-volume goal game, including bets like 'Both Teams to Score' and 'Liverpool Win & Over 2.5 Goals' with odds favoring such outcomes.

H2H - Reds on Top

Liverpool have a 37-18 advantage against Crystal Palace, alongside 14 draws.

Liverpool Back in EPL Form

Liverpool are fifth in the Premier League and have a five-point cushion inside the Champions League qualification places.

Arne Slot’s side fell to a 2-1 loss at Brighton before the international break and hit back with consecutive wins.

The Reds won their most recent home game 2-0 against mid-table Fulham. Rio Ngumoha and Mohamed Salah scored in the opening 40 minutes and Liverpool had 1.57 XG.

The Merseyside outfit sealed back-to-back league wins for the first time since February with a 2-1 victory at Everton. Liverpool had the better chances with 1.45-0.79 XG and Salah and Virgil van Dijk scored to secure the win.

Crystal Palace Rarely Win Away

Mid-table Crystal Palace are inconsistent in the Premier League and are winless in 13 of their last 17 fixtures. Palace have failed to win in six of their eight away games in that period, losing four.

The London team were on a two-match winning streak after defeating Fiorentina 3-0 and Newcastle 2-1 at home.

Palace’s mini winning streak ended with a 2-1 away loss against Fiorentina. The Eagles faced 19 shots, allowed 1.9 XG and had just 33% possession.

Oliver Glasner’s side played out a 0-0 Premier League draw with West Ham on Monday. Both sides had nine shots and Palace hit the target with one attempt.

Predicted Starting Lineups & Team News

Liverpool (4-2-3-1): Freddie Woodman; Jeremie Frimpong, Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson; Dominik Szoboszlai, Ryan Gravenberch; Mohamed Salah, Florian Wirtz, Cody Gakpo; Alexander Isak

Defenders Conor Bradley, Joe Gomez and Giovanni Leoni and goalkeeper Alisson are injured.

Striker Hugo Ekitike is unavailable with an Achilles injury and midfielder Wataru Endo won’t feature due to an ankle issue.

Giorgi Mamardashvili is unlikely to feature after his knee injury against Everton. Arne Slot provided a post-match update on the goalkeeper and said, “It looked to me, and that’s also what they told me, that he had a big wound – an open wound.

“That’s of course not going to be a long-term injury. Let’s see if he is available for next week.”

Crystal Palace (3-4-3): Dean Henderson; Chris Richards, Maxence Lacroix, Jaydee Canvot; Daniel Munoz, Adam Wharton, Daichi Kamada, Tyrick Mitchell; Ismaila Sarr, Jean-Philippe Mateta, Yeremy Pino

Midfielder Adam Wharton is expected to return following an abductor issue.

Attacking duo Evann Guessand and Eddie Nketiah and midfielder Cheick Doucoure are ruled out.

Verdict

Liverpool can build winning momentum against a Palace side lacking rhythm on the road. Both sides get amongst the goals and a high-scoring home win is the best bet.
