Kazakhstan v Comoros Betting Tips & Predictions - Under 2.5 Goals Tipped in FIFA Series Contest

In the upcoming FIFA Series match, Kazakhstan and Comoros, meeting for the first time, are anticipated to deliver a low-scoring encounter. Kazakhstan recently ended a win drought with a 2-0 victory over Namibia. Meanwhile, Comoros suffered a penalty shootout loss to Namibia, maintaining a winless streak. Both teams have struggled offensively, consistently recording matches under 2.5 goals. Given these dynamics, a low-scoring draw is expected. Predicted lineups suggest minor tactical tweaks by both coaches to strengthen their squads.

Kazakhstan vs Comoros Predictions

Goals are expected to be in short supply in Tuesday's FIFA Series clash. I have a full stake on under 2.5 goals, while a share of the spoils at Astana Arena also looks likely.

Low-Scoring Outcome Expected in Kazakhstan vs Comoros

  • Kazakhstan have seen under 2.5 goals in their last 4 matches
  • Kazakhstan scored an average of 1.0 goals per game in their last 4 matches
  • Kazakhstan drew 2 of their last 4 matches
  • Comoros scored an average of 0.42 goals per game in their last 7 matches
  • Comoros have seen under 2.5 goals in their last 4 matches
  • Comoros drew 3 of their last 4 matches

Kazakhstan and Comoros Set For First-Ever Encounter

Kazakhstan and Comoros will meet for the first time on Tuesday.

Kazakhstan Pick Up Rare Win

Kazakhstan return to FIFA Series action on Tuesday after a comfortable 2-0 win against Namibia last week. Yan Vorogovskiy opened the scoring before Alibek Kasym sealed victory with a late second-half goal.

Worthy winners on the day, the Kazakhs secured a first victory since a 4-0 win against Liechtenstein last October. Before that, Talgat Baisufinov's side had failed to win seven of eight internationals (W1, D2, L5).

A lack of quality in the final third remains a concern. Kazakhstan scored just six goals in their previous seven matches, with four of those coming against Liechtenstein.

Low-scoring outcomes have been frequent, with seven of their last ten matches finishing with two or fewer goals scored.

Comoros Denied on Spot Kicks

Comoros come into Tuesday's FIFA Series fixture after a penalty shootout defeat against Namibia last week. Following a goalless 90 minutes at the Astana Arena, the African side were beaten 5-4 on penalties.

The Coelacanths have shown defensive resilience in recent internationals, with Hubert Velud's men held to goalless draws in each of their last three matches.

The visitors are now winless in eight fixtures and continue to struggle in the final third. Comoros have failed to score in their last four matches and have managed just two goals in six internationals since December 2025.

Ranked 106th in the FIFA standings, eight places ahead of Kazakhstan, Velud's side have failed to win ten of their last 12 fixtures.

Predicted Lineups and Team News

Kazakhstan (4-2-3-1) Temirlan Anarbekov; Erkin Tapalov, Alibek Kasym, Nuraly Alip, Yan Vorogovsky; Islambek Kuat, Aybol Abiken; Islam Chesnokov, Maksim Samorodov, Galymzhan Kenzhebek; Ivan Sviridov

Head coach Talgat Baisufinov could make a couple of changes to his XI this week. Erkin Tapalov is in line to replace Aleksandr Mrynskiy at right-back, while Aybol Abiken is also poised to earn a recall.

Hearts forward Islam Chesnokov is expected to win his 27th international cap.

Comoros (4-2-3-1) Salim Ben Boina; Said Bakari, Kassim Mdahoma, Ahmed Soilihi, Remy Vita; Iyad Mohamed, Youssouf MChangama; Faiz Selemani, Yacine Bourhane, Rafiki Said; Myziane Maolida

Head coach Velud could make a couple of changes to his XI this week. Remy Vita is in line to replace Ismael Boura at left-back, while Yacine Bourhane could come into the heart of the midfield.

Verdict

Both teams have struggled in front of goal in the past year, suggesting a likely low-scoring outcome in Tuesday's FIFA Series contest.

Under 2.5 goals is my best bet, while I also fancy the spoils to be shared.
