Mikel Arteta's Arsenal comfortably beat three lower-league teams in their opening FA Cup games. The Gunners defeated Portsmouth 4-1, Wigan 4-0 and Mansfield 2-1 in the previous rounds.

Two of those victories came during Arsenal's 14-match unbeaten run from January to March. Arteta's team won 11 in that streak and scored 32 goals.

Arsenal's unbeaten run ended with a 2-0 EFL Cup final loss to Man City. The Gunners allowed 1.51 XG, conceded two goals after half time and failed to score for the first time in 16 matches.
