Betr.com.au announced as wagering partner of the PGA Australia

The PGA of Australia and Betr.com.au announced on 18th November 2022 that Betr, the new betting brand created by Matt Tripp has become its official wagering partner.

The deal will see Betr sponsor multiple tournaments through digital and broadcast assets and content; the first sponsorship event that Betr will participate in the managing the Betr Champions Lounge at the Fortinet Australian PGA Championship from 24-27 November at Royal Queensland Golf Club. 

Talking to Freetips.com, PGA Director of Commercial Australasia Michael McDonald said partnering with Betr enables the PGA to continue their fan focus across tournaments:

“The PGA’s major highlight of the summer is the Fortinet Australian PGA Championship which is known for being all about the fans, the Betr Champions Lounge located on the party hole at this event aligns perfectly with Betr’s focus on the customer experience.” 

The Fortinet Australian PGA Championship is one of the major highlights of this year’s summer of golf and will see the DP World Tour season commence in Brisbane at the Royal Queensland Golf Club. 

A stellar field of Australian and International players will compete for the Joe Kirkwood Cup and $2M in prizemoney, the richest prize on the ISPS Handa PGA Tour of Australasia.
