Chicago are tipped to cover the spread as they beat their historic rivals.

The Bears are without Caleb Williams for this one, but the offense continues to move the ball consistently and the defense has shown great improvement over the past three games.

Green Bay, on the other hand, are struggling on both sides of the football right now.

Key Numbers – Will Bears Reach 4-1?

  • Chicago Bears have covered in all 3 of their wins
  • Green Bay Packers have failed to cover in 3 of their 4 games

Chicago Bears Take 3-1 Record To Lambeau Field

Chicago head to Green Bay on the back of a successful two weeks that saw them win back-to-back games without Caleb Williams.

The Bears enjoyed a spectacular start to the season as the offense shone in a 59-37 victory down in Carolina, but they failed to build on that a week later as they lost 9-3 to Minnesota.

To make matters worse, they lost starting quarterback Caleb Williams and backup Tyson Bagent to injury in that matchup, meaning third-string QB Case Keenum started in Week 3.

However, Keenum produced a dazzling display to lead Chicago to a stunning 27-7 win over Philadelphia on Monday Night Football.

Bagent then made his return last Sunday and led the Bears to a comfortable 23-12 victory against the New York Jets.

Green Bay Packers Split First Four Games Of Season

Green Bay go into this matchup on the back of a win, but having underwhelmed through the first four weeks of the season.

The Packers kicked off the campaign in disappointing fashion as they were beaten 39-22 at division rivals Minnesota.

They rebounded a week later by battling past the New York Jets in overtime, 20-17, but failed to build on that.

Green Bay’s home opener was ruined as they suffered a 35-14 blowout at the hands of Atlanta on Thursday Night Football.

The Packers did bounce back immediately though, edging the Buccaneers 17-14 in Tampa last weekend.

Verdict

These two teams served up three thrillers last season, and despite Green Bay’s problems it would be foolish to simply write them off in this rivalry game.

However, Chicago are the better team at this time, so we expect them to go 4-1 in meetings with the Packers since Ben Johnson took the reins.
