Hamilton Tiger-Cats 3-5 After Back-To-Back Losses

The Tiger-Cats made a losing start to the season as they fell 30-27 in overtime at home to Montreal, but they responded quickly to that setback.
They got off the mark with a 37-27 victory in Winnipeg, before returning home to take down the BC Lions, 41-27, to enter the bye week at 2-1.
Hamilton failed to maintain that momentum after the break though, as they were beaten 14-13 by Winnipeg and 38-7 at Saskatchewan.
The Tiger-Cats avoided a third straight loss by beating Toronto 24-23, but their joy was short-lived as they then lost 31-18 in Montreal and 44-20 at home to Calgary.
BC Lions Recorded 2nd Win Of Season Last Time Out

The Lions sat out opening weekend with a bye, but when they did finally get their campaign underway, they made a rough start.
They opened with back-to-back road defeats, losing 31-27 in Saskatchewan and 41-27 at Hamilton, before losing their home opener against Calgary, 41-33.
BC finally got off the mark before their second bye, beating Edmonton 36-24, only to then return with defeats to Edmonton, 19-17, and Toronto, 26-12.
The Lions avoided a third consecutive loss though, as they snapped that losing sequence with a 35-19 victory in Winnipeg last time out.

BC have not enjoyed the best of starts, but they will have been buoyed by the win in Winnipeg.
