Saracens, despite a recent home defeat to Sale Sharks, remain strong at home and hold a commanding record over Bristol Bears, with nine consecutive home wins and ten overall. Both teams have had promising starts to the Premiership season, with Saracens sixth and Bristol second in the table after two rounds. Key players return for both sides, setting up a closely contested fixture, but Saracens' historical dominance makes them favourites to maintain their run.

Saracens lost last weekend but their home form has been good, and their record against Bristol is excellent. This could be tight given the Bears solid start to the season.

Key Stats - Home Form Key for Saracens

  • Saracens have won 3 of their last 4 home fixtures (PREM).
  • Saracens have won 9 consecutive home matches against Bristol.
  • Bristol have lost 3 of their last 5 away games (PREM).
  • Bristol have lost 10 consecutive matches to Saracens.

Saracens Lead with Ease

Saracens hold a 14-2 lead against Bristol in 16 matches.

Saracens Solid Start to the Season

Saracens scored a try in a low-scoring first half against Sale Sharks last weekend, going into the break trailing 7-5.

Sarries added two tries and a conversion to their score in the second half, but fell short against Sale Sharks, losing 21-17 at home.

The Men in Black secured an away win in their PREM season opener against Leicester Tigers, winning 40-38.

Saracens are sixth in the Premiership Rugby standings with six points from two games.

Saracens will be disappointed to have lost their opening home match of their new campaign, but will welcome playing Bristol this weekend, as they have won ten consecutive matches against their opponents.

Bristol Excellent Start to the Season

The Bristol Bears scored two tries, a conversion, and a penalty in the first half against Northampton Saints last weekend to lead 15-14 at half-time.

The Bears produced a solid second half of rugby against the reigning champions,  scoring four tries and two conversions to secure a 41-26 home victory over Northampton.

Bristol faced Sale Sharks in their opening PREM fixture of the season, winning 34-24 away from home.

The Bristol Bears are second in the Premiership Rugby table with ten points from two matches.

Bristol will be pleased with their performance so far, but face one of their bogey teams in the league, having lost nine consecutive times when playing Saracens away from home.
