Adelaide did what they could in game 2 but couldn’t match the perimeter shooting of the Phoenix. 

Bryce Cotton had 29 points, six rebounds and five assists in 38 minutes of play while DJ Vasiljevic and Nick Rakocevic combined for 32 points off the bench, one of their highest combined totals of the season.

The 36ers shot 41.7% from distance themselves, way above their season average of 36.2% while also converting their two point chances at a much higher rate. 

Had it not been for the 18 turnovers then Adelaide would have been much closer in the closing stages of this match.

South East Melbourne Phoenix & Sobey Shine In Game 2


South East Melbourne levelled up the series with an emphatic 101-92 win over Adelaide, erasing a 16 points second quarter deficit in the process.

Nathan Sobey carried the team out of the hole with a season high 41 points on 14-27 shooting which included a monstrous 8-16 from three-point range.

The SEM bench contributed with 26 points, Malique Lewis coming up with four very important offensive rebounds at key moments of the match.

Take Adelaide to win and cover the short -1.5 line as the home favourite. Nick Rakocevic has been crucial to their success, get him for 15+ and 20+ as well as Nathan Sobey over 32.5 PRA.
