Cholet had huge problems controlling the paint in semifinal Game 1 against Paris (39-50 rebounds) but still escaped with a 90-89 victory, mostly thanks to the individual brilliance of Terrance Campbell, who recorded 19 points and eight assists.
They had a strong first half in Game 2 on Thursday as well, holding a five-point advantage at the break, but completely lost their rhythm after halftime, scoring just 27 points in the second half and suffering a heavy 100-77 defeat.
Paris Finding Their Rhythm
Paris were the most successful team in the French LNB regular season, finishing 1st with a 22-8 record, but they were pushed hard by 8th-seeded Strasbourg in the quarterfinals and needed three games to advance.
