The first 30 players to qualify for the WPT World Championship through WPT Global receive Golden Ticket eligibility.
The $100,000 is not paid simply for qualifying. An eligible player must go on to win the WPT World Championship Main Event.
If one of the first 30 WPT Global qualifiers wins the title, WPT Global will add an additional $100,000 bonus to their tournament winnings.
Early Bird Bonus: Get Up to 10% Extra Starting Chips
WPT Global’s Early Bird Bonus rewards tournament players who enter early with up to 10% extra starting chips.
The earlier a player enters an eligible tournament, the larger the starting-stack bonus. Players who buy in before the tournament begins receive the maximum 10% bonus, while smaller bonuses remain available through the first five levels.
The promotion is not limited to direct tournament buy-ins. Direct buy-ins, ticket entries, satellite qualifiers and re-entries all qualify for the Early Bird Bonus.
That means a player who wins their seat through a satellite or uses a tournament ticket can still receive additional starting chips, provided they enter within the qualifying Early Bird period.
How the WPT Global Early Bird Bonus Works
The biggest advantage is available before play begins. Entering an eligible tournament before the scheduled start gives a player 10% more starting chips than the standard stack.
The bonus then reduces as the tournament progresses:
- enter before the start for 10% extra chips;
- enter during Level 1 for 5% extra;
- enter during Levels 2-5 for between 4% and 1% extra.
Players should check the individual tournament lobby and current WPT Global promotion terms before entering, as tournament eligibility and promotional conditions can change.
Do Satellite Qualifiers Get the Early Bird Bonus?
Yes. WPT Global states that satellite qualifiers qualify for the Early Bird Bonus, alongside direct buy-ins, ticket entries and re-entries.
The amount of extra starting chips depends on when the player enters the tournament rather than how the seat was obtained.
Does the Early Bird Bonus Require a Promo Code?
No separate Early Bird promo code is required. New players can still use WPT Global promo code NEWBONUS when registering to claim the current WPT Global welcome package, subject to eligibility and the latest offer terms.
Mega Hour Tournaments
WPT Global's Mega Hour promotion gives players access to bigger tournament fields, larger guarantees and affordable buy-ins throughout the day.
Instead of waiting for one headline event, Mega Hour sees at least one tournament added every hour between 12:00 and 24:00 (UTC+8), giving new players more chances to enter low-cost events with stronger prize pools.
Mega Hour highlights include:
- ¥500,000 in daily guaranteed prize pools
- Average buy-ins of around ¥30
- At least one Mega Hour tournament every hour
- Choice of formats (vanilla, PKO, Mystery Bounty & more)
- Large player pools
For players joining WPT Global for tournament poker, Mega Hour is one of the main promotions to look out for. It combines accessible buy-ins with regular daily guarantees, making it a good fit for players who want more volume, more variety and the chance to chase bigger prizes without needing a huge opening deposit.
WPT Asia Mystery Millions
WPT Global has added extra value for tournament players with the launch of WPT Asia MYSTER¥ Millions, a new phase-based event built around frequent qualifying flights and a Mystery Bounty finish.
Day 1 flights run from Sunday to Saturday, every two hours, giving you repeated chances to qualify, while the Day 2 Final takes place each Saturday at 20:30 (UTC+8).
The format is simple. Half of each buy-in goes to the Mystery Bounty pool and half goes to the main prize pool, with both paid out on Day 2. The top 10% from each Day 1 flight advance, players can enter multiple flights, and any qualifying stacks are carried over and combined for the final. Once Day 2 begins, the mystery bounties go live, both prize pools are in play, and the tournament continues until a winner is crowned.
One of the biggest attractions is the top Mystery Box, which guarantees ¥200,000, adding another strong reason for players to take a shot.
40% Rakeback
Cash game players now have an added incentive at WPT Global through its Table Starter Boost, a promotion designed to reward those who open up action at empty high stakes tables.
If you sit down first at a qualifying table, you can earn 40% rakeback on your play for the rest of that session, making it a strong extra for regular grinders and players who do not mind getting games started.
The offer applies to NLHE and Short Deck cash games at qualifying high stakes, including $25/$50/$100 and 100/200/400 CNY NLHE tables, plus 200 CNY Short Deck.
The process is straightforward: find an empty eligible cash table, take a seat, and begin playing to earn rakeback from your very first hand. Any rewards are then paid weekly every Monday, giving active players another solid reason to chase the biggest cash game action on WPT Global.

In 2025, Passport Dollar qualifiers and satellites were removed from the platform. This means players can no longer earn Passport Dollars through gameplay. However, players who currently hold Passport Dollars still have a variety of redemption options, including:
- Live Event Entries – Your Passport Dollars can still be used to buy into all currently listed and future WPT Global-affiliated live events throughout 2026.

WPT Global Games
The world’s most popular poker game – no limit Texas hold’em – is the most widely played on WPT Global, with cash tables available from micro stakes to high limit, ensuring that there is always a game running to suit all bankrolls.
Other variants include 6+ (“strip deck” or “short deck”) hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha (MTTs only); soon to be released are fast-paced “Splash” games where big preflop antes will provide a boost to action.
Features:
- Emojis for fun interactivity at the tables

- A range of detailed, out-of-this-world avatars and table themes
- Coming soon: the WPT Global loyalty system will bring a brand-new approach to rewarding players. Designed to maintain a safe, sustainable ecosystem that keeps games fair and fun for everyone, it will reward contributions to entertainment and table starting while disincentivizing predatory behaviour.
Rake levels will vary according to stake, number of players at the table and their actions, with redistribution calculated according to whether individuals are new or experienced players and whether they generate action or contribute to engagement by, for example, starting new tables or playing in short-handed or tough games. Fulfilling these conditions results in a higher percentage of rake reallocation.
WPT Tournaments
The WPT has long been a trailblazer in the world of top-level tournament poker, and its flagship live events award titles coveted by professionals and amateurs alike. WPT Global provides a path to potential glory for players online, with exclusive satellites to some of the most well-known live tournaments in the world.
In the purely online arena, WPT Global offers a range of multi-table tournaments with structures ranging from Slow to Hyper-Turbo. The quicker formats (available full ring, or short-handed) allow players to experience the full “story” of a tournament from start to finish, without the lengthy time commitment. Tournaments available daily at the $2, $11, $25 $55, and $109 buy-in levels include:
- Short Deck
- Pot limit Omaha (PLO)
- No limit hold’em
Bounty Hunter (KO) and Progressive Bounties (PKO) tournaments are especially popular – part of the buy-in is placed as a bounty on each player’s head. In Progressive Bounty tournaments, a portion of the bounty on eliminated players is added to that of the player who busts them, so the late stages involve some big prizes independent from the finishing place prize money. There are Bounty MTTs in all game types at a variety of buy-in levels running throughout the day.
Deepstack tournaments include three daily $109 Deepstacks (one with a regular structure, one Turbo and one Hyper Turbo) and a $25 Deepstack Turbo with $2,000 guaranteed. Running alongside them are daily freerolls, plus special Sunday and high-roller events, like the daily $550 Deepstack Turbo (to which there are two daily satellites).
The ¥550 Golden Weekly Tournament runs flights throughout the week to suit all time zones, bringing together a global field to play for a guaranteed prize pool of ¥688k (over $100,000). Satellites are available daily for either a $25 or $55 buy-in.
