Betfair’s sports betting exchange was founded in 2000 by Andrew Black and Edward Wray. At the time, this was a pioneering product that allowed punters to both back and lay selections and choose their own odds.

Betfair Football Betting Tips
With more than 190 league and cup tournaments coming from 80+ countries, plus Champions League, Europa League, AFC Cup and a host of internationals, there is an abundance of football betting to be enjoyed. All of the common main markets are available, plus several that many other bookmakers don’t offer. Among them are: What will happen in 1 minute? A goal, free kick awarded, corner, penalty, red card, etc. Also, you have shots on target by certain players, handicap corners betting, and stacks of interval markets, too.
Betfair Horse Racing Betting Tips & more
Betfair sportsbook is a delight for racing punters. It offers all UK and Ireland meetings, in addition to cards from other countries such as Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, France and the USA. There are even races from South Korea, India, Chile and Mauritius. That is how comprehensive it is. Betfair Acca Edge
This is a new feature available at Betfair. Essentially, it is an insurance tool in case one of your selections lets you down so you get your stake back. When you build an accumulator (known as an ‘acca’), from the third selection and above, you will be offered Acca Edge. This calculates a new set of odds that would be applied if you accept the ‘Edge’.
For example: three selections on your bet slip total a 10/1 treble. The Acca Edge will appear with a new price such as 8/1 with the ‘Edge’. The choice is yours which you want. Taking the Edge means less winnings but a little security.
