Betshop Football Betting Tips
Soccer is by far the biggest draw at Betshop. There are hundreds of thousands of wagers available at any one time, which is hardly surprising with over 40 countries to choose from. Many of those have multiple leagues and tournaments to choose from, and there are also options for international club and country competitions. The UEFA Champions League and the World Cup would be two of the most popular events.
The market depth is huge, with over 450 wagers available for the big Premier League matches. Betshop has done a good job of cutting down the amount of information on-screen at once by keeping most of the wagers hidden behind market group links. You can click ‘correct score’, ‘over/under’, or ‘total goals’, for example, and view the appropriate wagers.
Betshop Ice Hockey Betting Tips
Ice hockey is the most popular sport at Betshop after soccer. Although there not nearly as many options, you still have 13 countries and international competitions to choose from. Obviously the NHL is the big one, but there are also multiple leagues available in Switzerland, Sweden, Russia, Norway, Germany, and the Czech Republic.
The market depth for ice hockey games extends only to the match outcome and the over/under.
Other Sports
Besides soccer and ice hockey, tennis and basketball have the most coverage. Handball completes the top five, which is an unusual choice over baseball or volleyball, but nonetheless it has 10 national and international categories.
The tennis link has all the WTA and ITF men’s and women’s tournaments, with the big matches having around 20 wagers. The doubles matches and smaller competitions will only have a handful of markets; usually the match outcome and either odds/even or the 1st and 2nd set winner. Basketball has good market depth, however, with over 100 wagers for most popular matches. There are also plenty of outrights for all the major European leagues.
We wanted to see how well Betshop was pricing its wagers so we ran a few comparisons with similarly-sized sportsbooks. The table below shows our results and as you can see, Betshop is offering competitive odds across the board. It seems to be that the higher odds are more competitively priced, but this is only a random sample and may not be true of Betshop’s pricing as a whole.
