Svenbet Review

Svenbet.com is a betting website owned by Viking Holdings Ltd. Like so many up-and-coming online bookmakers it encompasses a fully-loaded sportsbook as well as a casino and live casino with video slots, progressive slots, roulette, blackjack, poker, and more. 

Svenbet is operated by CW Marketing B.V, which is licenced and regulated by the Curacao Gaming Control Board. They ensure that all of Svenbet’s operations are legal and legitimate; if there was any hint of underhanded tactics, the CGCB would revoke its licence and put Svenbet out of business. 

There are also specials markets covering politics, TV, movies, and awards ceremonies. 

As with most sportsbooks, football is the main draw. You’ll find it top of the list of sporting categories in the left-hand sidebar, and it will almost always have the most available matches - over 1,000 during the busy times. There are over 45 regions to choose from, most with multiple leagues and tournament options, along with some European and World competitions. 

The most popular leagues such as the English Premiership, Bundesliga, La Liga, Ligue 1 and Serie A are all covered extensively with every match being given decent market depth. As you move down the leagues the market depth will decrease; for example, a game between Liverpool and Norwich City will have 164 wagers, whereas a match in the German 3rd division between Wurzburger Kickers and Bayern Munich reserves will have 40 wagers. This is still more than reasonable and it clearly places Svenbet above many other betting sites that are offering far less coverage. 

Svenbet also regularly offers bonuses and promotions when there is a big tournament being played, such as the World Cup or Champions League. Look out for these offers as they can be used to increase your returns or insure your stake. 

After football, tennis is the most popular sport at Svenbet. There are 18 regions to choose from here, along with World tournaments such as the Fed Cup and Davis Cup. Everywhere from Great Britain to China to Kazakhstan to Peru is covered, so you’ve got no shortage of choice. 

Wimbledon and the other grand slam events are, of course, the main draws for the punters. Men’s and women’s singles matches have around 50 available wagers, but this drops to around 15 for the men’s doubles and 3 for the women’s doubles. You’ll often find that because these matches are very popular the odds can be quite short, especially if there is a superstar like Serena Williams or Rafael Nadal playing. Svenbet’s website is easy to navigate once you know how, but for a novice bettor, the sportsbook can look a bit intimidating. Clicking the ‘pre-match’ link will take you to the homepage and right away you’re bombarded with four columns of information. It’s easy enough to ignore the majority of the information and pick out your sport from the sidebar, but one wonders why Svenbet has chosen to have such a cluttered landing page when so many other sportsbooks are praised for their clean and simple layout and design.

Svenbet has managed to keep the login process simple, however. Just click the ‘Login’ link at the top right of the screen and the appropriate window will appear. There is also a link here that you can use if you’ve forgotten your password.

For some reason Svenbet, like many other new bookmakers, does not have a telephone number listed as a customer service option. The best way to contact customer support is by using the live chat feature, which is available by clicking the Viking helmet icon at the bottom left of the screen. There is no indication as to the opening hours, but if the character has green eyes that means the live chat is online. If he has red eyes, that indicates that it is offline.
