England and West Indies have both won all three games at the World Cup to date, but it is England who has dominated the head to head clashes. I expect the English to win here.

Danni Wyatt-Hodge scored 105* in the opener against Sri Lanka while Amy Jones has two half-centuries in her last four matches. Alice Capsey has two scores of 40-plus in her last four matches and played a key role in the win over Scotland. Sophia Dunkley has scored 1,400 runs in T20Is (ave 25.00). 

Sophie Ecclestone starred with the ball in the win over Scotland, taking 2/23 to secure her seventh wicket in England’s three matches in the tournament. Freya Kemp took 4/22 against Sri Lanka and scored 39* and took 1/13 in the win over Scotland, while Charlie Dean has taken seven wickets in her last four matches. 

West Indies Women Inconsistent


The West Indies secured a strong win over Sri Lanka, bowling them out for just 98 and knocking off the runs with five wickets and 23 balls to spare. 

Hayley Matthews (3/15, econ 3.75) and Karishma Ramharack (2/15, econ 5.62) were the destroyers-in-chief against Sri Lanka. Aaliyah Alleyne has figures of 4/27 and 3/11 in the World Cup, while Afy Fletcher took 2/16 against Scotland.
