Surrey have suffered a recent dip in form but given how poor Middlesex have been, I foresee them getting back to winning ways here.

Surrey looking to Fine their Way back to Form


Surrey come into the match on the back of two defeats in which they scored just 174/8 and 116, so Middlesex will be hoping to strike some early blows, but their top order is strong and unlikely to fold for a third match in a row.

Sam Curran has been Surrey’s most consistent batter, with three scores over 30 in the series, while Jason Roy has scored 45, 32 and 18 in four knocks. Dan Lawrence has four scores under 18 in the series and will be anxious to get among the runs.

Reece Topley has figures of 2/27, 2/39 and 2/39 in his four matches and is worth backing to take more than one wicket against Middlesex. He picked up 2/39 in the win over Middlesex on 22 May.

Middlesex Struggling in T20 Format


Middlesex have suffered three big defeats with just one win over a struggling Sussex side in their third match of the season. 

Max Holden (77), Joshua De Caires (80*) and Leus du Plooy (36) starred with the bat in the win over Sussex, with De Caires hitting five sixes in his 44-ball innings. He looks worth backing to hit the most match sixes.

Tom Helm (3/41), Eathan Bosch (2/37) and Zafar Gohar (2/38) knocked Sussex over for 182 to secure their first win of the season. Helm has been their most successful bowler, picking up 1/34, 2/24 and 3/41 in his four matches this season.

Verdict

Surrey are overwhelming favourites for the win, but I’m backing Joshua De Caires to hit the most match sixes.

Reece Topley is backed to take two or more wickets, while Sam Curran is a good pick to be Surrey's top scorer.
