FURIA vs Leviatan Betting Tips – VCT Americas Stage 1 Playoffs Begin
FURIA and Leviatan are set to face off in the opening game of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 Americas Stage 1. FURIA are clear favourites, benefitting from a favourable map pool and stronger recent performances, while Leviatan have struggled in their last matches. With no roster changes on either side, FURIA's consistent results and higher ceiling make them the team to back. It would take a significant upset for Leviatan to win, as FURIA are positioned strongly both form- and playstyle-wise.

FURIA enter this match as firm favourites, which makes a lot of sense. Not only does the map pool change – removal of Bind – help FURIA, but they’ve also looked more potent than Leviatan, who have struggled in the final two weeks of the regular season, dropping games against LOUD and MIBR.
Even though FURIA did not look perfect throughout Stage 1, they remain one of the league’s top teams. Meanwhile, Leviatan’s recent struggles make them a hard sell for this clash.
- Both teams finished the group stage with a 3-2 record
- FURIA have high expectations put on them
- Leviatan have looked somewhat shaky lately

FURIA Are Expected To Perform
FURIA were the best team of VCT Kickoff, and they’ve retained the tag of one of VCT Americas’ top teams despite going 3-2 in the group stage.
During the regular season, FURIA have beaten NRG, Evil Geniuses, and Sentinels, but lost against KRU Esports and 100 Thieves, the latter in the final week of play.
From afar, FURIA’s results do not inspire much confidence. They dropped a map against Evil Geniuses and Sentinels in two wins, got smoked by KRU Esports, and reverse-swept by the surging 100 Thieves.
Despite all that, FURIA deserve respect as a team with an incredibly high ceiling. The only question is whether they’ll manage to find their stride in the knockout stage and show the world what they’re capable of.

Leviatan Look Rough
Leviatan had a strong start to VCT Americas Stage 1, beating Cloud9, G2 Esports, and ENVY. However, they slowed down in the final two weeks of play, with defeats against MIBR and LOUD.
The loss against MIBR saw Leviatan drop Breeze and Haven 10-13. Then against LOUD, Leviatan dominated on Bind 13-3, yet got reverse-swept with 12-14 on Breeze and 10-13 on Haven.
Losing against LOUD should sound the alarms, as Leviatan failed to show up against a fairly weak team who’ve shown nothing outside of edging past ENVY and Cloud9. While it is not fair to overreact to one result, Leviatan haven’t been all that great since very early into the stage.

Verdict
FURIA are favoured to win, and that makes sense. Not only have they shown higher highs than Leviatan, but they will also benefit from the map pool change.
Moreover, Leviatan have not inspired any confidence with their most recent performances, when they lost to MIBR and LOUD.
Admittedly, FURIA have shown some struggles in attack, but only against proactive teams, which Leviatan are not.
Form-wise, FURIA are in a better spot, the map pool works in their favour, and stylistically, they’re in a better spot. It’ll take a major upset for Leviatan to come out ahead.
