FURIA Have Been Struggling

The big question here is how much weight to put on that loss. Leviatan are a very proactive team and have enough individual talent to defeat anyone. So it is fair to argue that Leviatan are were just better on the day. However, it was not FURIA’s only rough game of the split, which could indicate a worrying trend.

NRG made it to the VCT Americas Playoffs as a lower seed, after placing fourth in Group Omega. However, they sat in a three-way tie with 100 Thieves and FURIA at 3-2, with a worse head-to-head and map record.
During the regular season, NRG have shown some good things. They started the group stage with losses against FURIA and KRU Esports, before crushing 100 Thieves, Evil Geniuses, and Sentinels.
Their slow start could be attributed to fatigue, as NRG attended the Masters event before Stage 1.But once they managed to compose themselves, NRG have started posting solid results, and we can expect more of that in the playoffs.
