100 Thieves Have More to Prove
100 Thieves have been playing well this stage. They placed third in the highly competitive Group Omega, with a 3-2 record and a +20 round difference.
Despite the promising start, they fell early into the playoffs, as 100T had to admit defeat to G2 Esports in the upper bracket round one. Since then, they’ve shifted into a higher gear and crushed LOUD and MIBR, both 2-0, dropping double digits just once.
Against LOUD, 100T were in full control and won with 13-5 and 13-4. Against MIBR, things got dicey on Fracture (13-11), but went much smoother on Breeze (13-7).
100 Thieves have been stepping up and have emerged as one of VCT America’s strongest teams. But they have yet to defeat NRG this season, so it is fair to be doubtful about their chances of succeeding on Friday.
