GamerLegion placed second at IEM Atlanta in May, but have not been nearly as successful since. They crashed out of IEM Cologne Major in 23rd-24th, SuperDraculaN Season 1 in 13th-16th, BLAST Bounty Summer in 17th-32nd, and Esports World Cup in ninth-16th.
Since IEM Atlanta, GamerLegion have played 13 games and won just five, and just two over the last 11, more recently, against JiJieHao and Luminosity during the Esports World Cup.
Things are not looking great for GamerLegion, who have a good enough roster to be highly competitive, but something just isn’t clicking. This is worrying, as a team of players like that should not be losing to Acend, 9INE, and HOTU.
Expectations on GamerLegion remain high, but their form is worrying.
