There is not much to say about Team Vitality. They are the most successful team of the season, having won all but two tournaments attended since the turn of the season.
Their two “slip-ups” came in January at BLAST Bounty Winter, and more recently, in May at IEM Atlanta, where Vitality placed fifth-sixth. Despite the recent early elimination, Vitality have retained their tag as the team to beat in Cologne, and with the form they’ve shown, there is little to suggest they can not make a run for the third consecutive Major title.

FUT had an incredible run through Stage 2, which they finished with a perfect 3-0 record. On that run, they’ve beaten B8, TYLOO, and G2 Esports, which is not very impressive, granted the 2-1 win over G2 is not something to ignore.
Even before the Major, FUT Esports have been showing good things and have proven they are capable of causing upsets.
Now, they appear to be in good form, especially dem0n, who ended Stage 2 with a 1.23 rating. So while FUT aren’t among the main contenders to reach the playoffs, they can definitely do some damage.

FUT Esports looked great in Stage 2, and they’ve previously pushed Team Vitality to map three at BLAST Rivals. This gives hope that FUT might do some damage on Thursday, even though this appears as a very unwinnable game for them.
Assuming Ancient and Inferno are removed, and Vitality don't pick Anubis, things could get dicey for the Bees, especially on Mirage and Dust II, where FUT tend to perform well.
