Week 4 of the NFL season featured outstanding individual efforts that shaped game outcomes. Matthew Stafford led the Rams to a big win with 375 passing yards and three touchdowns. Travis Etienne Jr. starred for Jacksonville, rushing for 124 yards and a TD against San Francisco. Puka Nacua dominated as a wide receiver, while Tuli Tuipulotu’s four sacks for the Chargers stood out on defense. Kevin Byard and Josh Blackwell helped secure a Bears win with defensive plays and special teams heroics. These players set themselves apart as the week’s best.
- Matthew Stafford led the Rams to victory with 375 passing yards & 3 TDs

- Puka Nacua grabbed 170 yards & a TD to spark Rams' offense
Week 4 of the NFL season produced a host of great performances, and we have picked out some of the best for our Team of the Week.
QB Matthew Stafford – Los Angeles Rams
Jordan Love and Dak Prescott both had big games in Sunday night’s showdown between Dallas and Green Bay, but that shootout ended in a tie. Matthew Stafford, on the other hand, not only tore up the Indianapolis secondary, he also led Los Angeles to a big 27-20 victory over the previously unbeaten Colts. The veteran quarterback completed 29 of his 41 pass attempts for 375 yards and three touchdowns.
RB Travis Etienne Jr – Jacksonville Jaguars
Ashton Jeanty finally had his breakout game for Las Vegas, but it was not enough to prevent them from a home defeat to Chicago, and it was not enough to get him in our Team of the Week. Jacksonville running back Travis Etienne Jr went off against a good San Francisco defense, averaging 6.5 yards every time the ball was put in his hands. He rushed for 124 yards off 19 carries, with a longest run of 48 yards, and he also found the endzone as the Jaguars upset the 49ers, 26-21 on the road.
WR Puka Nacua – Los Angeles Rams
Shout out to George Pickens for his 134-yard, two touchdown showing for Dallas against Green Bay, but we simply had to pick Puka Nacua as our receiver. The Los Angeles star has made an outstanding start to the season and Sunday was his best performance to date. He accounted for 170 of the Rams’ 375 passing yards on the day, and also contributed one of their three touchdowns in a big win over Indianapolis.
LB Tuli Tuipulotu – Los Angeles Chargers
New York may have walked away from this game with the win, but Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart will have checked under his bed for Tuli Tuipulotu before he went to sleep on Sunday night. Tuipulotu wreaked havoc on the Giants all day long as he piled up four sacks to go along with 10 total tackles for the Los Angeles Chargers. So while his team did fall to defeat, we simply could not ignore his sensational performance.
S Kevin Byard – Chicago Bears
Kevin Byard produced the type of performance that will quiet some of the critics this week. The Chicago Bears safety played a major role in a big road win of the Bears in Las Vegas. He picked off Geno Smith twice, registered two passes defended, racked up seven total tackles and had one tackle for a loss. We must give team-mate Tyrique Stevenson a shout out too after he had one pick, a fumble recovery, two passes defended and six total tackles.
ST Josh Blackwell – Chicago Bears
There were some big kicks this week, but the biggest special teams play of the weekend came in Las Vegas. The Raiders marched into field goal range with just seconds left in the game against Chicago, and Daniel Carlson was largely expected to convert the game-winning kick. Bears defensive back Josh Blackwell had other ideas though. Having received some good ‘intel’ from team-mate Scott Daly, Blackwell timed his ‘get-off’ to perfection, raced around the Las Vegas offensive line and laid out fully to block the kick and secure the win for Chicago.
