In a move that blurs the lines between heavy metal music and combat sports, Slaughter To Prevail frontman Alexander “Alex Terrible” Shikolai is set to compete in a Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship bout this May.

The ground-breaking BKFC spectacle, dubbed ‘Blood4Blood’, is scheduled for May 6 at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida - strategically arranged to kick off festivities around the ‘Welcome To Rockville’ festival.

Organised in partnership with BKFC and festival producers Danny Wimmer Presents, the event promises four professional bare knuckle fights and four live musical sets.

Terrible, 32, who has cultivated a reputation not only as the vocalist of the Russian-born, Florida-based deathcore outfit but also as a bare-knuckle competitor, will headline the combat portion of the evening.

Entering the ring against American middleweight contender Cameron “The Bull” Delano - himself a one-win BKFC fighter - Terrible brings a 1-1 record in sanctioned ungloved fighting into the matchup.

In addition to his headline fight, Terrible will also take the stage with Slaughter To Prevail the following weekend, closing an event that blends his dual passions in an unprecedented fashion.

“Fighting and heavy music have always been my world, my passion, my lifestyle,” said Shikolai. “To have the first Blood4Blood hosted by the biggest bare-knuckle promotion in the world… means a lot. I will step into the ring and on the stage. I give everything. This is my heart.”

The musical lineup echoes the event’s hybrid ethos, with performances confirmed from Slaughter To Prevail, Black Label Society, Crowbar and Malevolence, offering fans compressed sets of heart-pounding metal alongside the visceral thrill of bare-knuckle competition.
