Leeds have a 32-20 advantage against Crystal Palace, alongside 17 draws.

Crystal Palace Improving at Home

Oliver Glasner’s Crystal Palace are in decent form and have lost just two of their last eight in all competitions. The Eagles have become hard to beat at Selhurst Park, going unbeaten in three and keeping three clean sheets.

Palace’s upturn in form started with home wins over Wolves 1-0 and  Zrinjski Mostar 2-0. The London side then narrowly lost 2-1 at Man United and hit back with a 3-1 victory at Tottenham.

Glasner’s team continued their unbeaten run at Selhurst Park with a 0-0 draw against AEK Larnaca. The Eagles dominated with 1.98 XG and 73% possession, but couldn’t find the breakthrough.

Leeds Draw a Lot on the Road

Leeds are 15th in the Premier League and have three point buffer above the relegation zone. The Yorkshire side are winless in four consecutive league matches, drawing twice.

The Whites drew three consecutive away games in all competitions against Chelsea 2-2, Birmingham 1-1 and Aston Villa 1-1. That streak ended with 1-0 losses to Man City and Sunderland at home.

Daniel Farke’s side responded with a comfortable 3-0 FA Cup home win against Norwich. Sean Longstaff, Gabriel Gudmundsson and Joel Piroe scored as Leeds controlled the game with 1.62-0.93 XG.

Predicted Starting Lineups & Team News

Crystal Palace (3-4-2-1): Dean Henderson; Chris Richards, Maxence Lacroix, Jaydee Canvot; Brennan Johnson, Adam Wharton, Daichi Kamada, Tyrick Mitchell; Ismaila Sarr, Evann Guessand; Jorgen-Strand Larsen

Midfielder Cheick Doucoure is ruled out with a long-term injury.

Attacker Edward Nketiah is out with a hamstring issue and defender Daniel Munoz has a shoulder injury.

Leeds (3-4-2-1): Karl Darlow; James Justin, Joe Rodon, Pascal Struijk; Jayden Bogle, Ethan Ampadu, Ilia Gruev, Gabriel Gudmundsson; Anton Stach, Brenden Aaronson; Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin and forward Noah Okafor should make the squad after missing out on the Norwich game.

Joe Rondon is likely to return against Crystal Palace. Daniel Farke confirmed the defender was only rested against Norwich and said, “It was from my side a bit of a precaution because he was struggling before the game on Tuesday, a bit with hamstring problems.

“So I didn’t want to take the risk today.”

Verdict

Crystal Palace will want to maintain their decent home form in the Premier League. Leeds need points to pull clear of the relegation zone and a tight draw is expected at Selhurst Park.
