Crystal Palace and West Ham face off at Selhurst Park, with both teams demonstrating strong recent performances. Crystal Palace has an unbeaten run at home, notably securing back-to-back wins and advancing in the Conference League after beating Fiorentina. West Ham, under Nuno Espirito Santo, have shown solidity with only two defeats in their last eleven games and achieving a decisive victory over Wolves. Despite Crystal Palace's slightly better form, both teams' recent performances hint at a likely competitive draw.

West Ham have a 26-21 advantage against Crystal Palace, alongside 24 draws.

Crystal Palace Building Form at Selhurst

Oliver Glasner’s Crystal Palace have improved recently and are undefeated in eight of their last 10 games.

Palace have been strong at home following a six-match unbeaten streak in all competitions. The Eagles won consecutive games before back-to-back 0-0 draws with AEK Larnaca and Leeds.

The South Londoners continued their impressive form at Selhurst with wins against Fiorentina 3-0 and Newcastle 2-1.

Palace lost 2-1 at Fiorentina on Thursday and progressed in the Conference League with a 4-2 aggregate victory. Ismaila Sarr scored in the opening 20 minutes and Palace conceded either side of half time.

West Ham Are Draw Specialists

West Ham are also in decent long-term form, with just two defeats in their previous 11 games. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have drawn five in that spell.

The Hammers have moved two points clear of the Premier League relegation zone after going unbeaten in six of their last eight.

The East London side were on a four-match winless run, including draws with Brentford 2-2, Man City 1-1 and Leeds 2-2.

West Ham ended that patchy period with a commanding 4-0 home win against Wolves. Taty Castellanos and Konstantinos Mavropanos both scored twice and the Hammers had 2.35 XG.

Predicted Starting Lineups & Team News

Crystal Palace (3-4-3): Dean Henderson; Jaydee Canvot, Chris Richards, Chadi Riad; Daniel Munoz, Will Hughes, Daichi Kamada, Tyrick Mitchell; Ismaila Sarr, Jean-Philippe Mateta, Yeremy Pino

Midfielder Cheick Doucoure and forwards Eddie Nketiah and Evann Guessand are unavailable due to injury.

Defender Maxence Lacroix and midfielder Adam Wharton are injury doubts after coming off injured at Fiorentina. Oliver Glasner was cautious over Lacroix’s injury post-match and said, “I don't know [how serious], honestly.

“Maxence, I think he touched foot to foot, and then he felt his knee, I think the medial ligament, so let's see. It's painful.”

West Ham (4-4-1-1): Mads Hermansen; Kyle Walker-Peters, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Axel Disasi, El Hadji Malick Diouf; Jarrod Bowen, Mateus Fernandes, Tomas Soucek, Crysencio Summerville; Pablo, Taty Castellanos

Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is ruled out with a lower back injury.

Verdict

Crystal Palace will want to build on their solid recent home form and West Ham need Premier League points. There’s little between these sides in form and quality and a draw is likely.
