Nottingham Forest have clicked under Vitor Pereira recently and are unbeaten in six matches, winning three. The Midlands outfit have conceded just three goals during this run.

Forest have moved three points clear of the Premier League’s bottom three after a three-match unbeaten run. The Tricky Trees drew 2-2 at Man City, beat Tottenham 3-0 away, and held Aston Villa 1-1 at home.

Pereira’s side continued their impressive recent form by defeating Porto 1-0 at home in the Europa League on Thursday. Forest dominated with 2.17 XG, 20 shots and Morgan Gibbs-White scored after 12 minutes. 

Burnley Struggling to Keep Pace in the EPL


Scott Parker’s Burnley are 19th in the Premier League and 12 points from safety. The Clarets’ survival hopes have declined after a six-match winless streak, including four defeats.

Burnley lost 4-3 at home to Brentford and 2-0 at Everton before a 0-0 draw with Bournemouth. They followed that stalemate with a 3-1 loss at Fulham, facing 22 shots and allowing 3.15 XG.

The Lancashire side lost again on Saturday and fell to a 2-0 home defeat against Brighton. Burnley had just 0.87 XG and conceded once in each half.

Striker Chris Wood and defender Murillo could be in contention to feature against Burnley. Vitor Pereira was positive about the duo’s recent recovery and said, “I am not a doctor, but [I think] it will be nothing special. 

“My belief, I believe, that Murillo and Chris will be ready for Burnley.”
