Inverness Extend Unbeaten Start
Inverness travel to Edinburgh after maintaining their solid form with a goalless draw at Arbroath last weekend.
Despite creating the better opportunities, Scott Kellacher’s men were forced to settle for a point at Gayfield. The Caley Jags outshot their hosts 15-5 and registered an xG of 1.38 compared with Arbroath’s 0.39.
Caley have now been held to goalless draws in both of their first two Championship fixtures, after kicking off their campaign with a stalemate against Dunfermline.
The Highland side returned to the second tier this summer after winning the League One title for the first time in their history last season. Kellacher’s men lost only four of their 36 league fixtures, while they finished the season unbeaten in their last 18 games.
