Liam Rosenior’s Chelsea have struggled for recent form and are winless in six of their last eight games.

The Blues dropped Premier League points after a 1-1 home draw with Burnley and a 2-1 defeat at Arsenal. Chelsea then beat Aston Villa 4-1 before a three-match winless streak.

Rosenior’s side were held to a 2-2 draw at Wrexham, allowing 1.87 XG and facing 19 shots. They followed that result with a 5-2 loss at PSG in the Champions League.

Chelsea’s downturn continued on Saturday following a 1-0 Premier League home loss to Newcastle. The Blues conceded in the 18th minute and couldn’t score with 22 shots.

PSG Are Hard to Beat


PSG are in strong recent form and have lost just once in their previous six in all competitions, winning four.

Les Parisiens were unbeaten in four games, starting with a 3-2 Champions League win at Monaco. Further wins against Metz 3-0 and Le Harve 1-0 followed and Bradley Barcola scored in both matches.

Luis Enrique’s side lost 3-1 at home against Monaco after the Le Harve victory and Barcola scored again.

PSG hit back with a commanding 5-2 Champions League last 16 triumph over Chelsea. Barcola scored first and Ousmane Dembele, Vitinha and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia also hit the net.

Filip Jorgensen missed the Newcastle match with a knock. Liam Rosenior believes the goalkeeper will return to action soon and said, "Filip felt his groin, yesterday. He could not train. Hopefully Filip will be back really, really soon."
