AC Milan, despite a recent 3-1 win over Inter, have struggled for consistency and are dealing with several injuries. Both sides are expected to approach the match cautiously, making a draw the probable result in this competitive fixture.

AC Milan are deserved favourites here but Ferencvaros are very hard to beat and know how to score goals. I am backing the Italian club to register a narrow victory at home.

Derby Win for AC Milan


AC Milan have been inconsistent this season, highlighted by their form in the Europa League. They won 4-0 at Salzburg either side of a 2-0 defeat against Benfica and 3-0 loss at Bournemouth.

Ruben Amorim’s side recently suffered a 4-2 defeat against Bologna. Alphadjo Cisse scored twice to take a 2-1 lead but they fell apart in the second half.

I Rossoneri bounced back by beating Inter 3-1 at San Siro. Diego Moreira got a start and made it count with two assists and a goal, Milan outplayed in the second half but standing firm at the back.

Ferencvaros Hard to Beat


Ferencvaros haven’t lost since July, unbeaten in 20 consecutive games. They have won all three matches in the Europa League, including a 3-1 victory at Celtic.

The Hungarian club played their next two at home, beating Viktoria Plzen 2-1 and Torreense 4-1 in Budapest.

Balazs Borbely’s side have lost once in the NBI, currently sit two points off top spot with a match in hand. Dele scored first in a 2-0 win against Paks on Sunday, his fourth goal in four games.

Verdict

Ferencvaros took out Trabzonspor in the playoffs and won 3-1 at Celtic in the league phase. The Hungarian side play with no fear and have the weapons to score at San Siro.
