The world's best names head to Evian Resort Golf Club for the Evian Championship from July 9-12 for what is the fourth major of the year.

Grace Kim is back to defend her title after a play-off victory over Jeeno Thitikul in 2025, while Nelly Korda heads the field chasing a third major win in 2026.

These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.

Jeeno Thitikul

Jeeno Thitikul had an excellent start to her season on the LPGA Tour, placing T7 at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions and winning the Honda LPGA Thailand.

The 23-year-old could not maintain her level of play in her subsequent five starts, finishing T31 at the HSBC Women's World Championship, T14 at the Fortinet Founders Cup, T50 at the Ford Championship, T17 at the Aramco Championship before missing the cut at the Chevron Championship.

Thitikul bounced back to form after those results, recording a victory at the Mizuho Americas Open, a 7th at the Kroger Queen City Championship, a T28 at the U.S. Women's Open, an MC at the Meijer LPGA Classic, and a T8 at the recent KPMG Women's PGA Championship.

The nine-time LPGA Tour winner has compiled a solid record at the Evian Championship, finishing T64 in 2017, 5th in 2021, T8 in 2022, T9 in 2023, MC in 2024, and 2nd in 2025.

Thitikul has the form to go one better and win her first Major at the Evian Resort Golf Club this weekend.

Miyu Yamashita

Miyu Yamashita performed well at the start of her season on the LPGA Tour, placing T5 at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, T18 at the Honda LPGA Thailand, T10 at the HSBC Women's World Championship, T5 at the Fortinet Founders Cup, MC at the Ford Championship and 4th at the Aramco Championship.

The 24-year-old was in decent nick in her next three events, finishing T46 at the JM Eagle LA Championship, T21 at the Chevron Championship, and T20 at the Mizuho Americas Open before rediscovering her touch from earlier in the year, placing 3rd at the Kroger Queen City Championship, T34 at the U.S. Women's Open, victory at the Meijer LPGA Classic, and T12 at the recent KPMG Women's PGA Championship.

The number eight-ranked golfer has featured three times at the Evian Championship, finishing T48 in 2023, T39 in 2024, and T14 in 2025.

Yamashita comes into this tournament in great touch and can lift the trophy in France come Sunday.

Ruoning Yin

Ruoning Yin had a decent beginning to her LPGA Tour season, finishing T17 at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, T15 at the Honda LPGA Thailand, T41 at the HSBC Women's World Championship, T24 at the Blue Bay LPGA and T34 at the Ford Championship.

Yin has found form since those performances, placing T7 at the Aramco Championship, MC at the JM Eagle LA Championship, T2 at the Chevron Championship, 2nd at the Mizuho Americas Open, 4th at the Kroger Queen City Championship, T8 at the U.S. Women's Open before finishing T37 at the recent KPMG Women's PGA Championship.

The world's sixth-ranked golfer has yet to make an impact at the Amundi Evian Championship, missing the cut in 2024 and 2025.

Yin can convert her recent results into victory at the Evian Resort Golf Club this weekend.

Lottie Woad

Lottie Woad had a solid beginning to her season on the LPGA Tour, placing T7 at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, T15 at the Honda LPGA Thailand, T10 at the HSBC Women's World Championship, and T14 at the Fortinet Founders Cup before finishing T34 at the Ford Championship, T41 at the Aramco Championship and T36 at the JM Eagle LA Championship.

The 22-year-old did not take long to regain her touch, placing T7 at the Chevron Championship, MC at the Mizuho Americas Open, a victory at the Kroger Queen City Championship, T49 at the U.S. Women's Open, and 2nd at the Meijer LPGA Classic before missing the cut at the recent KPMG Women's PGA Championship.

The world's fourth-ranked player has made two appearances at the Evian Championship, missing the cut in 2024 before finishing T3 in 2025.

Woad can secure victory in France this weekend, as she has come into some solid form lately.

Verdict

Jeeno Thitikul comes into the Evian Championship in excellent form and can emerge victorious this weekend.

Miyu Yamashita has been posting top results lately and can make the frame at the Evian Resort Golf Club come Sunday.

Ruoning Yin has been in great shape lately and can emerge victorious in France come Sunday.

Lottie Woad has solid form and could surprise the others with a victory this weekend.
