Ole Miss Suffered Second Loss Last Weekend
Ole Miss enter this matchup in desperate need of a winning, having slipped to 5-2 last weekend.
The Rebels won a shootout with Louisville on opening weekend, 41-38, and backed that up with 41-9 blowout of Charlotte in another non-conference matchup.
They made it three-in-a-row in their SEC opener, and they did it in dream fashion as they ruined Lane Kiffin’s return with a 32-24 win over LSU.
Ole Miss failed to make it four-in-a-row as they lost 52-38, but they rebounded over the next couple of games with dominant wins over Vanderbilt, 52-17, and Missouri, 31-3.
However, the Rebels were unable to keep that run going last weekend, as they fell to a 34-27 defeat at Texas.
Verdict
Ole Miss will miss Lacy for this one, but the good news is that Chambliss will feature and he is facing a struggling Tigers secondary.
