BYU head out on the road on the back of headline-grabbing win over Notre Dame that took their perfect record to 7-0.

The Cougars opened the season with a 63-7 blowout of Utah Tech, before kicking off their Big 12 slate with a 28-17 win over Arizona.

They then won back-to-back games on the road, downing Colorado State 41-23 in non-conference play, before beating TCU 17-10 in Big 12 action.

BYU’s perfect start continued as they returned home the following week to beat Iowa State 24-10 in a conference matchup.

The Cougars then took their perfect start to six games as they recorded their biggest win of the season so far, beating the Fighting Irish 28-24 at home.

UCF 3-3 Following Back-To-Back Defeats

UCF enter this conference matchup having dropped back-to-back road games to fall to 3-3 on the season.

The Knights kicked off the season with three non-conference matchups, and were able to win two of them.

They sandwiched a 12-7 road defeat to Pittsburgh with home wins against Bethune-Cookman, 73-6, and Georgia State, 44-30.

UCF then kicked off their Big 12 schedule with a 21-13 victory over TCU, but they were unable to build on that victory.

The Knights dropped consecutive conference games on the road, falling 27-17 in Houston and 42-28 at Oklahoma State.

This is a long road trip for the Cougars and there is the danger of an emotional letdown, but we are backing them to follow up that win over Notre Dame.
