Indiana Aim To Bounce Back From First Loss

Indiana head to Michigan having suffered their first defeat of the season last weekend, dropping them to 6-1.

The Hoosiers kicked off their defence of the national crown with three blowout wins in non-conference action, beating North Texas 52-16, Howard 55-0 and Western Kentucky 38-0.

They then opened their Big Ten slate with three more victories to improve their record to 6-0.

Indiana edged Northwestern at home, 29-23, before heading out on the road to beat Rutgers 47-15 and Nebraska 20-17.

That set up a huge showdown with Ohio State at home, but the Hoosiers came up short against the Buckeyes as they were beaten 19-15.

Michigan Snapped Two-Game Skid Last Week

Michigan enter this matchup having rebounded from back-to-back defeats with a victory that took them to 4-2.

The Wolverines opened the season with a controversial 13-12 win over Western Michigan, and followed that up with a 17-10 upset of Oklahoma at home.

They then made it three-in-a-row with a 52-17 blowout of UTEP, only to see their perfect start end when they began their Big Ten schedule.

Michigan suffered a 20-19 defeat at home to Iowa, and then fell to a 20-14 defeat when they visited Minnesota.

The Wolverines finally got off the mark in the conference last weekend, as they fended off Penn State for a 21-18 victory at home.

Indiana are coming off a loss and have struggled to cover this season, but they are still a better team than Michigan.
