Edmonton head to Hamilton having won 11 of their 15 games to secure their place in the postseason.

The Elks made a fast start with six wins in their first seven games, before stumbling in early August with back-to-back defeats.

They rebounded strongly though, sparking a four-game win streak with a 42-12 win over Toronto.

Edmonton backed that up by beating Winnipeg 22-19, before winning back-to-back meetings with Calgary, 38-28 on the road and 53-26 at home.

The Elks failed to make it five-in-a-row as they lost 24-19 in Toronto, but they did rebound last time out, beating Hamilton 37-35 in overtime at home.

Hamilton Tiger-Cats Snapped 5-Game Skid Last Week

Hamilton go into their penultimate game of the regular season knowing they are already out of the postseason race.

The Tiger-Cats made a decent start as they won two of their first three games, but their form nose-dived from there as they lost five of the next six.

They then failed to build on a 26-19 upset of Saskatchewan as a 39-20 defeat in Toronto proved to be the start of a season-ending five-game skid.

Hamilton lost 28-23 in Calgary, 37-22 at home to Toronto, 37-25 to Montreal, and 37-35 in overtime in Edmonton.

The Tiger-Cats finally ended that losing skid last weekend, as they went out on the road to beat Ottawa 34-16.

Verdict

EDM Elks @ HAM Tiger-Cats

Edmonton are the better team and a Grey Cup contender, but they had a hard time putting away Hamilton at home a couple of weeks ago.
