McGregor becomes ambassador for 1xBet

Conor McGregor has partnered up with bookmaker 1xBet ahead of his long-awaited return to the UFC later this month.

McGregor will end a five-plus year absence from the Octagon when he takes on Max Holloway in the main event of UFC 329 on July 11 – a rematch of their 2013 bout which ‘The Notorious’ won by decision.

He lost to bitter rival Khabib Nurmagomedov in his return to the UFC in late 2018, but rebounded in early 2020 when he took just 40 seconds to knock out Donald Cerrone.

That remains his most recent victory though – he lost back-to-back fights with Dustin Poirier in 2021, with the second of those bouts ending when the Irishman sustained a broken leg in the very first round.
