The Dominican Republic are out of contention for a Nations League 2026 playoff spot after collecting just three victories from 11 matches, but at least no longer have to worry about relegation.
The Dominicans opened Week 3 by recovering from a two-set deficit against Belgium before narrowly losing in the deciding set. On Friday, they had better fortune by edging Ukraine in another five-set battle.
