betFIRST Football Betting Tips

As with most online bookmakers, football is the biggest draw. There are regularly over 1,000 matches to choose from and all the major worldwide competitions are covered in full. Well-publicised matches will have over 20 available markets, but this will drop to just the main match outcomes when there isn’t a big-name player involved. Even if a major tournament is not currently in progress, you’ll be able to bet on the outright winner.

Other Sports

After football and tennis, basketball, ice hockey, and golf are the most popular sports. 

The NBA is, of course, the main option for basketball. There are 17 countries to choose from, however, and many of those have multiple leagues. There are also European competitions, such as the Euroleague and Eurocup, as well as the FIBA World Cup. Big matches will have an impressive depth of around 100 wagers.

Similar to basketball, ice hockey has 14 countries to choose from with the NHL being the one most punters will go for. There are also plenty of options for Russia, Sweden, and the Czech Republic. The market depth is great across the board here. NHL games usually have around 80 markets but smaller matches, such as those in the Slovakian Extraleague, will still have around 70.

Clicking the ‘live betting’ tab in the header menu will take you to the betFIRST in-play area. All the sporting categories support live betting for certain matches, and you can see which ones are upcoming by clicking the ‘live schedule’ link. 

If you are in the ‘event view’, you can click the triangular play icon at the top of the sidebar. This will display the matches which are currently being streamed live on the website. In the live schedule, you’ll also see that icon beside the available games. Even if a game isn’t being streamed, there will still be a graphical match tracker and real-time statistics updates.
