BetVictor Horse Racing Betting Tips & more
BetVictor covers all UK and Ireland horse races as well as a selection of international meeting from the USA, South Africa and France. However, it doesn’t offer much from Australia or New Zealand like other bookmakers do.
Punters have a TimeForm racing guide for all local races and it covers some from South Africa, too. This is not as comprehensive as what the Racing Post offers in our opinion. You get an overview of the race followed by some experts predictions. The betting markets are win, each way, forecast and tricast - which can be straight or reversed. If you like greyhound racing, BetVictor delivers every single race from the UK and Ireland with Timeform guides plus a few from the US and other countries. There’s plenty of tennis, golf, rugby, cricket and Aussie rules, too. Market depth could definitely be stronger, with many of these sports way off what you can find elsewhere.
BetVictor Live Betting
We aren’t going to sugarcoat this, BetVictor’s live betting could be far better. It delivers action from a range of sports, including football, tennis, rugby, golf, table tennis, volleyball and snooker among others. However, the average depth is sub-standard compared to industry rivals. For example, an ITF tennis match covered in-play at BetVictor had 8 betting markets open - the same game at bet365 had 68 markets.
Also, the digital scoreboard is lacklustre and there are no stats to give you an idea of which markets to bet on. The good news is, placing live bets is easy - and we found the platform to be very responsive, so it only took a couple of seconds to get your money in the game.

Website/Usability
BetVictor’s website is functional but it’s by no means the best in class. It offers quick links to featured pages and popular pages which is useful as it does save a little time. There is also a main menu which lists the entire range of sports. For players accessing through a mobile device, the layout is slightly different in that there are featured pages across the top and a drop-down menu lists all the other sports.
When you click on a specific sport, everything is in list form - unlike other sites that divide things up in tabs, so you have to scroll down until you find exactly what you’re after. When you do click into a specific match market all the options are neatly laid out. Adding bets to your bet slip from both the full and mobile platform is easy. If you add multiple selections, the options are displayed as to what bets you can place. However, there are no breadcrumbs which makes navigation rather tedious at times as you always have to go back to the main hub page to look at other matches.

An alternative to using the web-based mobile betting platform is to download the BetVictor mobile app - available for iOS and Android devices. Whilst, we didn’t find the desktop platform as user-friendly as some other bookmakers’, the BetVictor mobile app is much better.
