Grosvenor Sports Review

Grosvenor’s betting pedigree is undoubtedly world-class. It has 50 bricks-and-mortar retail locations, including the stunning Rialto casino. It is situated in a Grade-2 listed cinema-theatre building from 1913, right at the heart of London’s West End.  

The Grosvenor website is fully licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission, as are the physical casinos. The Grosvenor website is also licensed and regulated by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission for customers playing from outside the UK.

Horse racing is top of the list of sports categories in the sidebar, and you’ll find meetings from UK, Ireland, USA, and South Africa. All the big UK and Irish races are streamed live on the website and the app. 

The UK and Irish horse racing also has a Best Odds Guaranteed feature. That means that if you bet on a horse and the starting price is more than the price you took, Grosvenor will pay out at the higher odds. Alongside football and horse racing at the top of the list of sporting categories is boxing, cricket, and golf. This is very typically English, as you’d usually see sports like ice hockey in this position. 

The boxing category, as well as having plenty of upcoming fights listed, also has betting options for unconfirmed fights. The Pacquiao vs Mayweather rematch is one of the main listings, but any bets will be voided if the fight doesn’t take place before 31th August 2020. Popular fights will have around 8 markets, including total rounds, winning method, and individual round betting.

The Cricket category has betting options for leagues and tournaments including the Twenty20, Twenty20 women’s, and the Caribbean Premier League. Big matches such as international test cricket will have over 70 markets per match covering individual wagers like player totals, wickets taken, and top runs scorer. 

Golf has all the major tournaments covered in full, such as the PGA Tour, the Ryder Cup, The Masters, The Open, the President’s Cup, and the US PGA Championship. There are also specials markets, covering bets like ‘Dustin Johnston to win the Masters plus Rory McIlroy to win the US Open’. Most competitions only have the ‘to win’ market, but some also have ‘leader after round X’ options. 

We ran a few odds comparisons with these top sports to see how well Grosvenor has priced its wagers. The events and selections were completely random, and the table below shows our results. Grosvenor is offering competitive odds for most of these markets, which bodes well for the sportsbook as a whole. It shows that you should always shop around to find the best price for your bet of the day, however.

Although there is no live streaming (except for horse racing), you can keep up with the action via the graphical match tracker and real-time statistics updates. 

The Grosvenor website uses large and easy-to-read text and colour coding so you can see at-a-glance which markets relate to which matches. All the menus are well categorised and intuitively designed, so everything is exactly where you’d expect it to be. The homepage does have a lot of betting options displayed on it, but the layout is clear enough that it doesn’t look cluttered or chaotic. 

The Grosvenor login is equally simple. Just click the big ‘login’ button at the top right of the page and enter your username and password. There are also links where you can send yourself a reminder if you have forgotten your login details.
