Their title run was hardly a surprise, as FURIA already had a strong start to the season, with a bronze medal from the CBLOL Cup.
To that, they added a trophy from the 2026 Americas Cup, which is a good indication that FURIA can match LCS teams. The issue here is that LYON are better than Cloud9 and Sentinels, whom FURIA defeated during the Americas Cup.
On paper, FURIA are dangerous, but they are also set to face their toughest opponent of the season.
