Karmine Corp dismantled Deep Cross Gaming in the first round of the Play-In stage, winning the series 3-0, needing just 31:40, 25:54, and 33:30 minutes per map.
It was a very one-sided game, and while some may argue that KC had an easy opponent, that performance also proved that Karmine Corp came to South Korea to play. Yike was exceptional in the jungle, and Caliste had an outstanding performance, proving that the pressure of an international tournament might not affect him.
While KC are now set to face a much tougher opponent, they have looked excellent to start off the event, and if they can emulate that performance, the LEC representatives can easily leave a dent in the Korean team.
